Bridesmaid Dresses
Originally, I had wanted to let the girls pick any dress they wanted in a color I chose. We looked all over for different dresses by different designers. The girls finally said, however, that they'd rather I just get something I like. So with their help, we chose this dress from David's Bridal in the color Serene. It's the perfect color for the church and the style of the dress looks really very nice on all my bridesmaids.

I shopped several times before I found the dress I loved... It was like glorified prom dress shopping, and I loved it :-p. Below are some of my options plus the final product. I feel like this dress is totally me!
Dress #1
From David's Bridal...I loved this dress at first, I thought it was adorable. But now after seeing so many nicer, more beautiful dresses, I realize that this dress just doesn't cut it at all.
Dress #2
This is the dress that I very nearly fell in love with... even still when I look at it, I think that it would have been an excellent choice. I felt very elegant in it. However, it was just a tad bit more expensive than I was hoping for...and although I ended up paying about the same for my actual dress, I feel like that one was a heck of a lot more me. I found it at Kathryn's Bridal in McHenry, IL. It is a Mori Lee.

Now this was a dress I really loved...but it was $3000. Nooooooo thank you. I found it at Veiled in Elegance in Geneva, IL.
The Dress!!!
This is the dress I fell in love with. The poofiness isn't exactly what I would have thought to pick for myself originally, but it really does fit my personality. I fell in love with the corset back and the lace edging. For all the beautiful dresses I tried on, this was the one for me! I purchased this dress at The Crystal Bride in Geneva, IL.
Shoes and Veil
My shoes are sort of unusual but I love them... I wear Chuck Taylors every single day, and so why not for our wedding day? I bought these knee high white chucks from Journeys. I bought this short one tier veil from BellaBridalVeils on Etsy.com. It hasn't come in yet, but it will be in diamond white.
